An introduction to DNA sequencing and data storage.

Ponente(s): Henry Chimal Dzul
With the inherent high density and durable preservation, DNA has been recently recognized as a distinguished medium to store enormous data over millennia. To overcome the limitations implied by this new approach, new coding systems that facilitate the practical implementation of DNA data storage with high capacity have been explored. The main goal of this work is to review the relationship between coding theory and DNA data storage.
